three things…i love

By

#1. sangria.
Need I say more?
Well, I will anyway– this one is a white wine-based recipe for summer. My dear friend Carolina is from Argentina, and she makes a similar drink called clariquot that is to die for. Basically, overnight you soak almost any fruit you want (green grapes, peaches & nectarines are my favorite) in a liqueur with some sugar, then add some white wine the next day. Too easy, too delicious. Nummy.

#2. open shelving.
I love love love plain white dishes. They keep the focus on the food & they look amazing on display. And I really love having all my plain dishes in plain sight, with no middle-man like a cupboard door to get in the way.

#3. sun tea
So simple, so summer. Click here for a recipe to try it yourself!

  1. so funny – i made sun tea for leslie yesterday!

  2. Huge fan of white dishes too! I switched to white a couple of years ago and it absolutely keeps the focus on the food or in my case….dessert! I like the clean look of white dishes, but I keep mine on open shelving in my pantry so I can see everything I have.

  3. love this post. pretty & delish. makes me want open shelving. i want the simplicity and ease of use. i guess i just love the streamlined modern and comfortable feel of it, and i love my white dishes! as for those drinks… gotta get on that! :)

Good morning Summer…I so agree with you about open shelving and plain white dishes. I do a lot of food photography and food looks amazing on beautiful geometrical dishes!

Have a lovely day or night, cheers from Australia
